Onedrive or SharePoint: which is better and why?

We often hear about the difference between Onedrive (enterprise version) and SharePoint. But what is it really? Is one of the two solutions is better than the other?

Indeed, much Onedrive Enterprise SharePoint are compatible with Office 365. Both are also developed by Microsoft. Labor streamlined team

If there is a major difference between SharePoint and OneDrive, it is this: OneDrive belongs to a user (each has its own OneDrive with his username), while SharePoint belongs to an organization.

So everything is in your OneDrive space is automatically private. You must manually enable the option to share with your colleagues so they can access your documents. Not very convenient for your team if you are sick, on vacation or out of office!

However, to have assisted several companies in recent years, this is my conclusion: onedrive Company is not ideal for collaboration in a team. Onedrive Company is rather a personal solution (to classify your documents at work) compared to SharePoint that is specifically designed for collaborative work.
